NEARLY £2,000 was raised for a foodbank by a five-ear-old after he was inspired by footballer Marcus Rashford. The campaign for free school meals sparked a conversation between Leo Kelly and his mum Emma Swanton, who told Leo about foodbanks and food poverty. The five-year-old decided he wanted to help other children who didn t have enough food to eat, so he came up with the idea of completing a sponsored bike ride in aid of Atherton and Leigh Foodbank. Having only ever cycled a maximum of eight miles before, Leo took on the challenge of cycling 20 miles one weekend in November.
