They arrested his father, 30yearold jason lam in l. A. Hes accused of violating a custody agreement and abducting his son. Bangouras mother reported the boy missing in San Francisco thursday evening after lam didnt show up with their son. The District Attorneys Office pursued the amber alert after learning lam was acting erratically. We found out disturbing information regarding the father that really gave us concern, at which time we initiated an amber alert. A cell phone ping from lams phone provided police with an important clue. It revealed lam was in los angel
Reporter last said her condition has not changed suffering from a gunshot wound. This incident has to shake in the community where this has happened. Reporter around noon on thursday, gunfire erupted here near the intersection of 66th avenue and outlook in east oakland. Neighbors were caught off guard. I was inside my house and i heard the gunshots. I heard the shots from my room. And immediately i thought, do you hit the ground . reporter laurie lacey came outside after she heard the shots and saw a woman driving away in a car. Going down the street really fast and she hit the corner. And she was screaming ya. Reporter police now believe that the mother of the 22monthold vicitim drove her daughter to the hospital. Investigators searched the area near the shooting and questioned witnesses but as of late thursday afternoon no suspects had been identified and a motive for the attack remains a mystery.
