My Turn: The danger comes when America is not first

Last month, President Biden addressed the Munich Security Conference where he said “America First” is over. He said that we are not going to look back. Well, if he reiterated the America First policy, we would not be looking back but continuing forward with the foreign policy of the last four years. Actually, rejecting America first is looking backward, as Biden said, because rejecting America first was the policy of the Obama-Biden Administration.
The Chinese Communists must be jumping for joy with these remarks by the president. These remarks will accelerate China’s goal to overtake America before their time table of 2025. When America is first, the world has been a safer place to live. America has been a deterrent to tyrannical regimes taking other countries by force. Letter: Canceling Keystone killed jobs

Joe Biden gives us the illusion that canceling the Keystone pipeline is good for the environment. Canceling the pipeline has no more positive effect on our environment than if it was still in use. That is because the oil from Canada will largely flow through other existing pipelines already constructed. This Canadian fuel that helped America become energy independent will still come to the United States.
The only thing the swipe of the president’s pen did by executive order is to kill thousands of jobs of hard-working American people.
John Kerry has said that the thousands of jobs lost by Biden’s order will be replaced by jobs to make sustainable energy. Kerry knows that this will not happen in the short run.

Regarding New Hampshire Group II retirees: Some of us are going to start getting a monthly bill for our portion of health insurance costs. Right now it looks like my wife but not me, because only she got the letter. Being born after 1949 is the criteria.
This was an auto deduction but no longer – some kind of accounting issue/error. This is not a new fee or cost but an accounting change. The amount in the monthly check will go up as it is no longer an auto deduction. However, if you fail to pay it on time each month you lose your coverage.
