Warning until 7 00 this morning. The north bay valleys will feel the coldest temperatures. And in the south bay last night. Warming centers opened, changing the temperature thresholds to help Vulnerable People get out of the cold. San jose opened the Warming Centers when the forecast is for 40 degrees or lower receive 38 degrees or colder. The city plans to keep the Warming Centers open through the morning after christmas. Now, its important to note that especially in the Santa Clara County area, more than 130 homeless died last year and it could very well be because of the temperatures that they have to sleep in at night.
