The residents identify areas where underprivileged people stay at nights in this bone-chilling cold in the national capital region, and distribute blankets among them. We started this campaign after spotting many underprivileged people, including women and children, with not enough clothes to keep them warm. We raised this issue in WhatsApp groups and other social media platforms and many residents came forward to help them. So far, we have gifted blankets to over 150 people, said Manish Kumar, a resident of Supertech Ecovillage 1 of the area.
