Wareham Health Director Bob Ethier leaving post
Health Board Chairman Dr. Amy Wiegandt made the announcement during the board’s meeting Wednesday.
She said she was sad that Ethier was leaving, and that he had been “a huge asset to the town.”
Ethier thanked her, saying he appreciated the praise. He added to the members, “You’ve been a wonderful board.”
Ethier also reported during the meeting that the latest weekly tally of positive COVID cases in town was 16, and eight probable. Since March 2020, there have been 1,724 total cases, 156 probable and 68 deaths, he said.
