written for the protection of innocence. if you live in a free and fair society like in that it states, or as canada tries to be, you have to ask yourself the rhetorical question, in order to protect innocence, would you let a killer go, would you let a robber go, in order to make sure that innocent people don t get caught in the net of injustice. that s the question that you ask yourself when you re examining this or any of these. no. the difference here being he s not an american citizen. he doesn t have they are saying that canada is putting the same eric: the activity at guantanamo bay does not apply, you do not have the same rules as evidence for gathering evidence that you do to american citizens. i m a war survivor. i can tell you that living for four years without food or water, being shot at by snipers every day and mortars is not easy. so all i can tell you is that i feel a lot of sympathy for victims of any conflict.
