Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday called upon the voters in Manipur to vote in large numbers for the second and final phase of the state Assembly elections, exhorting them to mark the festival of democracy.
A voter turnout of 47.16 per cent till 1 pm was recorded on Saturday with polling across 22 constituencies underway for the second and final phase of Manipur elections, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
