The newly released Netflix original, “Firefly Lane,” starring Katherine Heigle and Sarah Chalke, was the only program to break the one billion minutes viewing threshold the week of Feb. 1 in all three weekly Top 10 lists, winning at just over 1.3 billion minutes. The show, which chronicles the life of two women throughout thirty years of friendship, was most popular with viewers 35 and older.
In addition to the originals list, the global marketing research firm will also be pushing out weekly Top 10 lists that take into consideration original programming and movies in an effort to provide an expanded and more inclusive look at most streamed programs for that given week.
First Marvel’s WandaVision Clip Goes Bump in the Night
It’s just a matter of days before the lives of Marvel fans will take a strange turn as
WandaVision hits Disney+. ABC revealed the first non-trailer clip from the much-anticipated miniseries on
Jimmy Kimmel Live! a few hours ago, as Elizabeth Olsen was the featured guest. The brief clip has the 4:3 format, and seems to be one shot in front of the live audience. The atmosphere is the same as in many fan-favorite TV comedies like
The Dick Van Dyke Show and
Bewitched, with Wanda and Vision sleeping in their separated beds. A sudden noise disturbs Scarlet Witch, who uses her powers to wake up Vision and sends him to check out of the window what’s going on. The superpowered android doesn’t find anything strange, but that same thunderous noise sends him rushing under his blanket.
