Retirement homes have been slowly reopening and holding activities as their residents become fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. Clyde Hubbs is one of many seniors who found himself holed up in his room as COVID-19 cases spread across the country in 2020.  Hubbs, a resident of Morning Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care in Powell, remembers calling his son Mike, who was visiting Washington D.C., in early March to tell him that all residents were to remain in their rooms and visitation would end immediately.
