The feds have charged two men with posing as U.S. Marshals to avoid wearing face masks at a South Florida hotel.
Investigators say 81-year old Gary Brummett and 53-year old Walter Wayne Brown Junior were each told to put on masks when they showed up at the front desk of a Wyndham resort in Deerfield Beach last week.
In separate instances, both men were wearing badges, appearing to show they were Marshals working on a Cherokee tribal ground and told the hotel manager that he could be arrested for forcing them to wear a mask.

Staff at a Wyndham resort in Deerfield Beach called the Broward County Sheriff's Office to determine the legitimacy of the men's claims that they were exempt from mask-wearing because they were U.S. Marshals.
