Voters in Park Forest showed in votes for Village Board, Elementary District 163 and Rich Township High School District 227 that a handshake and a piece of paper may not be enough to sway a vote.
As 2023 elections approach, the Park Forest Non-Partisan Committee will hold debates among all candidates who sign pledges to run separate and independent campaigns.
