A child died Sunday night when an ATV she was riding crashed in a Battlement Mesa neighborhood, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday.
A Garfield County Sheriff Office spokesman said two inmates tested positive for COVID-19 about 10 days ago, followed by more cases over the Thanksgiving holiday and the ensuing weekend.
A burglary suspect allegedly fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle crashed into a ravine and died Tuesday night, a Garfield County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.
