We wrote a two volume history americas first family an inside view of 200 years of private life in the white house. He served as a consultant to the smithsonian interpretation of the exhibit and was a librarys historian until 2017. Florence Kling Harding once said she had only one real hobby and that was Warren Harding. She was a significant force in her husbands presidency and adept at handling the media. Despite hardships, scandals, her husbands infidelities and his death in office as well as her own poor health, Florence Harding set many precedents that would help define the role of the modern first lady.
