CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ¯ PORTLAND Tyler A. Jaynes, 31, of Cherry Creek, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies checked an address on Kinney Street in the town of Portland at 6:37 p.m. Friday for a reported order of protection violation. Jaynes was found at the residence and in violation of the order. He also was found to have outstanding warrants out of the town of Portland. Jaynes was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. ¯ FRENCH CREEK – Nathan D. Henry, 27, of Corry, Pa., was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and speed in 55 mph zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:08 p.m. on Mann Road in the town of French Creek for speeding. Henry was allegedly found to be in possession of a .45 caliber handgun without a permit. He was released with tickets to appear in court later.
