The state Department of Environmental Conservation is hosting several angler outreach programs at this weekend s Greater Niagara Fishing and Outdoor Expo.
New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos today invited the public to visit the DEC Bureau of Fisheries angler outreach programs at the upcoming Greater Niagara Fishing and Outdoor Expo. The event runs from Feb. 15-18 at the Niagara Falls Conference Center.
One of the best things about being an angler on the Niagara Frontier is the vast species and fishing opportunities the area has to offer. It is only fitting that the 2024 Greater Niagara Fishing Expo also has diversity in its show offerings.
Bass and walleye action continues to be very good, with smallmouth hitting 3-way rigs baited with crayfish or minnows, and walleye hitting worm harnesses.
