Travel (virtually) to Oregon s beloved Mount Angel Abbey with the Willamette Master Chorus in an upcoming spring concert this May, tilted Sacred Music at the Abbey.
The chorus will not be able to participate as a large group due to the pandemic but has captured some of the Abbey s acoustics by pre-recording accompaniment with different organs, according to a recent press release.
The chorus will premiere a newly arranged spiritual entitled, The Morning Trumpet. The women of the chorus will perform Laetatus Sum, described as a haunting composition based on Psalm 122.
