New hotel with giant TVs opens at Town Madison

A new hotel featuring giant TVs in each guest room has opened in Madison at the sprawling Town Madison development.
The Avid has 87 guest rooms and each room has a 55-inch HD TV as well as complimentary wireless internet service among other amenities.
The hotel is located on the western edge of the development near Wall Triana Highway and is accessible from the Wall Triana exit on I-565.
Jalasai Hospitality Company developed the hotel within the Town Madison mixed-use development. It is the second hotel to open at Town Madison, preceded by Home2 Suites by Hilton. A Hilton Garden Inn is also under construction.
