coverage of the aftermath of the stating tornado in moore, oklahoma. standing in the midst of it it s almost too much to believe. these homes flattened, barely a wall standing anywhere you look in this devastation. as i said, almost too much to believe. but there are several places around the world that do believe that because they ve lived through it before. joplin, missouri, the tornado struck there two years ago tomorrow. some 158 people were killed in that devastating tornado. they know what moore is going through right now. let s bring in mark moore, the city manager for joplin, missouri, right now. mr. moore, thank you so much for joining us. appreciate it. let me just, first, ask you, what s your message to the people here in moore, oklahoma? well, they re involved in a long process and it s going to take some time to get back any sense of normalcy. and that they have friends out there that are going to help
we re moving towards $16 trillion in debt and doing quite quickly. republicans promise to take an axe to government spending but a top conservative says there is a big wall standing in their way to do just that. he is not interested in spending cuts. he is not interested in reform. he wants to defend the entitlement state. he wants to defend obamacare. even add on to it. people really love snapshot from progressive, but don t just listen to me. listen to these happy progressive customers. i plugged in snapshot, and 30 days later,
and didn t work out and then sent her to another one and, you know, cell phones were out, so she had relatives in town but she couldn t get ahold of them to know how they were doing. it s been difficult for a loft people. so many of those people say that waiting has been the worst part and the not knowing. so it was nice to have a happy story out of this one because that has not been the case for unfortunately so many people. indeed. really this entire year has been devastating. one, already a record breaking one that there have been so many more deadly tornadoes in the year of 2011 already compared to 1953. it really is. it s amazing to think that anyone survived out of this tornado. fredericka, i have seen a lot of tornado damage, but i have never seen anything like this. you will hear about one house is fine, one house is not fine. this was like a lawn mower went through this town. every single house in the path of this tornado was damaged. every single tree was broken off. i me
