On Monday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m., the MTA will host its eighth and final virtual hearing for its 2020/2021 Fare and Toll Policy Review. During the virtual public hearing, registered speakers will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed changes, which include increasing the base fare from $2.75 to $3, increasing the express bus fare from $6.75 to $7.25 and potentially eliminating the Staten Island Resident Discount Program on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.
