A second walk-in Covid test centre is to open in the Shannonside region this Easter weekend.
It s being reported that a walk-in centre will open for people at the Athlone Regional Sports Centre from Good Friday.
Mayor of Athlone Aengus o Rourke has revealed that the centre will open on Friday on a 5 day week basis - from 11am to 7pm - and will hope to conduct up to 400 Covid tests per day.
