’s board of directors has appointed Azman Ahmad, as the officer-in-charge (OIC) to cover the duties and responsibilities of the group CEO effective May 16.
In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, FGV said Azman – who has been with the plantation group since 1986 would be the OIC until a new group CEO is appointed, or until such time as to be determined by the board.
On April 5, FGV announced the resignation of Datuk Haris Fadzilah Hassan as the company’s group CEO.
“Azman shall continue his current role as the group divisional director of logistics & support businesses (LSB) sector which he is holding since Jan 1,2017.

Brown will graduate this month from Syracuse Universityâs Falk College with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport analytics, becoming the first woman to complete the four-year undergraduate program since its inception five years ago. Her 23 classmates are men.
âItâs definitely an honor, Brown said. I think that thereâs a little bit of pressure that goes along with that. I think I feel like I need to be successful.â
Syracuse University and California Baptist University in Los Angeles began offering a four-year undergraduate course of study in sports analytics in 2016. Brown chose Syracuse after discovering the program by chance.
