Recently, he took a big leap in cultural promotion for the 2021 Asa day held at the Cultural Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State. The event was to promote the Yoruba culture and tradition and also make huge efforts in exporting those cultural ideas to the global world.
Explaining the reasons for his cultural exploits, Convener and President of Asa Day World Wide Inc.Canada, Oyatoye said the outfit is a non profitable organisation that was established purposely in order to promote Yoruba culture across the world, adding that previous events had been held twice in Canada.

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, yesterday, expressed displeasure over the dimension insecurity has taken in Nigeria even as he insisted that bandits and kidnappers now have monopoly of violence.
Adeyemi, who disclosed this in Lagos during the 51st birthday celebration of the Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba Land, Iba Gani Adams, said that monopoly of violence should be carried out by government but regrettably, that was not the case.
His words: “The monopoly of violence must be concentrated in government but regrettably we are not having that now. Bandit and kidnappers now have monopoly of violence than the government which is the reason why we are in this current situation.”

The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, says the investment drive of his administration has been yielding dividends in key sectors of the economy.
Fayemi spoke when he received the top management team of Sterling Bank led by the Divisional Head, Retail, Mr Shina Atilola, on Friday, in Ado-Ekiti.
The team unfolded the bank’s proposal to develop tourism, art and craft sectors. Fayemi, represented by the Deputy Governor, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, expressed delight with the bid tabled by Sterling Bank Plc to invest in Arinta Waterfall in Ipole Iloro and develop it to a tourist destination of choice in Nigeria.

Lagos, Jan. 1, 2021 Mr Wale Ojo-Lanre, the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism Development to Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has bagged an award for being an exemplary Journalist doing extremely well at his duty post.
This was given to him by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) B Zone on Thursday according to a statement issued by Ojo-Lanre on Friday in Lagos.
The statement said that the award was bestowed on him by Comrade Cosmas Oni, National Deputy President, NUJ , B Zone at the Ekiti State Press Centre, Ado Ekiti, during the inauguration of Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela-led Ekiti state NUJ EXCO for a second term.
