Murder case delayed while suspect searches for lawyer SALINE CO., Ill. (WSIL) The man accused of shooting a teen in the head back in March still doesn t have an attorney. Alexander McWilliam appeared alone in Saline County court on Thursday, April 22. He told Judge Walden Morris he s still trying to contact an attorney possibly in Kentucky. McWilliam was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing where State s Attorney Molly Wilson Kaiser would have presented the evidence against him. The state agreed to a two-week delay to allow McWilliam to search for legal representation. Judge Morris reset the hearing for May 6 and told McWilliam to bring a lawyer or the court would appoint him one at that time.
