Huawei signs milestone MoU with Walailak University to develop ICT professionals in Southern Thailand published : 24 Dec 2020 at 14:22 Top-of-the-line ICT equipment donated to facilitate hands-on study to form future ICT talent Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently finalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Walailak University (WU), in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, that will better equip students with the next generation of technologies and prepare them for the job market during the digital era. As part of the Huawei ICT Academy program, the partnership between the two parties aims to introduce advanced IT knowledge through practical courses and on-the-job training opportunities in the scope of Digital Educational Innovation.

Following their suit is Thailand who recently initiated a pioneering project in Koh Pha-Ngan, Surat Thani through collaboration between public and private sectors. This ground-breaking initiative aims to preserve and restore marine resources in Thailand. The project is also expected to generate socio-economic benefits and contribute to ecosystem rehabilitation as well as generate new knowledge on the use of artificial reefs to conserve Thai seas for the future.
