Slough Borough Council currently consists of 41 councillors who represent 15 wards and the current political makeup is 34 Labour, four Conservative, and three independents. The number of councillors at the council will increase by one (42) as a spot has remained vacant since Wexham Lea Cllr Shabnam Sadiq tragically passed away from coronavirus last year. Labour currently has three councillors in Baylis and Stoke, Britwell and Northborough, Central, Cippenham Green, Cippenham Meadows, Elliman, Farnham, Langley Kedermister, and Langley St Mary’s. They also have two in Chalvey, Upton, and Wexham Lea, and one in Colnbrook with Poyle. The Conservatives have all three members in Haymill and Lynch Hill and one in Colnbrook with Poyle.
