Man arrested for murder in connection with his mother’s death in Wakefield
Timothy Martin also charged with three counts of assault on police officers

Timothy Martin, 23, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was arrested and charged with murder and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in connection with the apparent homicide of his mother, Pamela Wood, 61 of Wakefield, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Wakefield Chief of Police Steven Skory.
The assault charges stem from Martin’s alleged assault on three police officers.
According to Ryan’s office, on Jan. 19 at approximately 9:55 a.m., Wakefield Police responded to a home on Otis Street to perform a well-being check on Wood after being notified that she had failed to show up for work at Greenwood Elementary School where she was a speech therapist.
