Another developing story were following in north bay where fire crews are gaining ground on a wildfire thats forced mandatory evacuations in sonoma county. This is the sawmill fire. It broke out yesterday, and has burned 2 square miles. Christien kafton has the latest now. Reporter cal fire is saying hot weather and steep terrain are the greatest obstacles. Chp limiting the amount of vehicles in and out to make sure fire vehicles have easy access and keeping people out of harms way. Fire started late yesterday morning. The latest update is 20 contained and 3 dozen homes in danger. About 1500 acres scorched in all. Mandatory evacuation orders are on geysers road from Pine Mountain road to geysers resort. Now crews are prepping for another long hot day on those fire lines. Were going to face similar conditions as yesterday. The temperatures are going to be relatively the same, if not a little bit higher. Hopefully not the winds that were seeing, the red flag warnings have subsided. Well
