Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta on Tuesday took to Twitter to inform her 117K followers that she had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Alongside a picture of herself, the National Award actress informed that she is feeling fine , and currently under quarantine at a recovery centre in Singapore.
The 50-year-old actress is asymptomatic, and has been following all the necessary protocols and precautions advised by her doctor and authorities.

LONDON: The Wanted frontman Tom Parker has revealed he is experiencing memory loss after undergoing rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for his inoperable brain tumour.
The 32-year-old singer, best known for being the lead vocalist of the British-Irish boy band The Wanted, announced his grade four glioblastoma tumour diagnosis in October.
In a video on his Instagram Stories on Sunday, Parker said he is forgetting things he has just done as a result of the treatment. As some of you know, I have been through chemo and radio, haven t I? Which was pretty god-damn brutal, but some of the side effects from the chemo and radio are you get bad memory loss, he said.
MUMBAI: Actor Varun Dhawan has tested negative for COVID-19 and is currently gearing up to resume shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo .
The 33-year-old actor was diagnosed with COVID-19 alongside his Jug Jugg Jeeyo co-stars Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and director Raj Mehta while they shooting for the film in Chandigarh in the first week of December.
According to a source close to the film, both Dhawan and Mehta have now recovered and will resume the shoot from December 19 in Chandigarh.
Neetu Kapoor, who flew back to Mumbai after her actor-son Ranbir Kapoor made necessary arrangements, tested negative for the virus on December 11.
