Anyone who has bought the product is encouraged to return it to stores where they will be given a full refund.
The Food Standards Agency website states: If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it.

“We are asking customers who have bought these products not to consume them and return to their nearest Sainsbury’s store where they will receive a full refund. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Co-op is also recalling its Cooked Mussels from the chilled aisle and all batch codes are affected.
Waitrose is also recalling its Essential Frozen Seafood Selection 250g with all use by dates up until January 2022 affected.
The Waitrose Essential Cooked Seafood Selection 200g is also being recalled by the retailer with all use by dates from December 20 to January 20 affected.
FOOD recalls have been issued by a number of supermarkets due to a serious health risk. Shoppers should check for seafood sold in Asda, Sainsbury s, Waitrose and Co-op.
