Man who died in single-vehicle crash, on rural road near Paeroa, named

A man who died in a single-vehicle crash in Paeroa has now been named. He was 43-year-old Andrew Noel Frater, from Paeroa. Police were notified of the single-vehicle crash on Rotokohu Rd, near the intersection of Te Moananui Flats Road, at 2.13pm on Monday. The circumstances of the crash still remain under investigation. At the time of the crash cyclists were seen in the area, and they may have noticed a white Isuzu utility travelling south on Rotokohu Road. Anyone who may have seen the vehicle or witnessed the crash is asked to contact Constable Paige McRobie-Casson of the Waikato Serious Crash Unit, either by email to Waikato.SCU@police.govt.nz, or phoning 07 870 7057.
