Former Mason County standout athlete murdered in Ohio By

POMEROY, Oh. A former standout high school football player in West Virginia is identified as the victim of a murder in Meigs County, Ohio.
Wahama, running back Kane Roush, was an All-State First Team selection in Class A while playing running back. He led the White Falcons to a state title in 2012
The Meigs County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as Kane Roush, 25, of Pomeroy, Ohio. Authorities say Roush was shot multiple times in the early morning hours Sunday. According to investigators he managed to crawl to another nearby apartment building from his home to get somebody to call for help. Deputies arrived to find him on the ground and still alive. He was able to communicate with Meigs County deputies when they arrived.
