Since 2017, Western University researchers have been following Syrian families who have settled in London, Calgary and Fredericton to see how they ve been adjusting to a new country. Abe Oudshoorn, a nursing professor at Western University in London, Ont. and the principle investigator for the study, says his curiosity for the families future eventually led him to lead this project.
