Saudi Flag Day, which is observed on March 11 as decreed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, commemorates the adoption of the Saudi flag, finalized in 1937 by King Abdulaziz’s endorsement of the Shura Council’s decision. For over three centuries, the green flag has symbolized Saudi national identity, resonating with meanings and uniqueness for Saudis.
