CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The three Rotary Clubs in Clarksville – Clarksville Rotary, Sunset Rotary and Sunrise Rotary –recently banded together to spread some holiday cheer.
The clubs sponsored a new Nature Adventure Trail Play Pod with a $23,000 gift to the Wade Bourne Nature Center Foundation. The funds were raised in part from the Clarksville Rotary Clubs’ Christmas Tree Extravaganza & Auction, the first holiday fundraiser of its kind for the three clubs.
“We are blessed to have such an awesome and active group of Rotarians in our community. I don’t believe there are any Rotary groups anywhere that are as good as the ones we have right here in Clarksville-Montgomery County,” said Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett.
