WACO, TX â Waco city services are feeling the effects of adapting to severe winter weather. We are kind of in a pre-emergency status. Right now it s been announced, said Jonathan Echols with Waco Water Utility Service.
Staff tells me as schools continue to close, crews are needing to stay home with their children, leaving them short staffed.
The department had a meeting Friday and decided to shutdown services Monday and Tuesday.
For safety reasons they decided to push Monday collection to Wednesday, and Tuesday to Saturday.
