STERLING - Things have changed in Sterling. With the election moving from May 10 to June 21, the deadline to take out and file papers has been extended.
May 1 is now the last day to obtain nomination papers from the town clerk’s office, with May 17 the last day to submit them. May 19 is the last day to withdraw.
The election will be held on June 21 from noon to 7 p.m. at the Houghton Elementary School.
According to the town clerk s office, the following offices will be on the ballot:
• Board of Assessors (three-year term); incumbent Donlin Murray took out papers;
