Wabash Area Development Incorporated has announced their 2023 IACAA Family of Distinction Workforce Award. The recipient of the honor was the Abbott Family of Wayne County. The nomination of the award was made by Sandra Sanders. The banquet and awards ceremony were held in Springfield on Sunday Evening.
Wabash Area Development Incorporated has announced that they have received funds to help with certain situations in the community. WADI officials say that they have FEMA funds to help with Rental Assistance in White, Hamilton, and Edwards Counties. WADI also has funds to help assist those in need of utility assistance in Hamilton and Wayne Counties. In Wabash County, WADI has FEMA funds to help residents who are losing their residence with a hotel stay for 30 days. WADI also says funds are still available for LIHEAP or the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. For more information, contact your local WADI office.
