SENOIA, Ga. A father and eight-year-old child have died after an accident in Coweta County on Thursday.
According to Lt. W. Mark Riley with the Georgia State Patrol, a trooper was dispatched to a single-vehicle crash near Senoia after reports that a truck had wrecked into a wooded area.
The trooper arrived to find a black F-150 that had been heading west on Ga. 16 near Tinsley Way when it left the roadway and struck a large group of trees.
There, the trooper found two victims, 35-year-old Travis Brown of Newnan and his 8-year-old daughter Emmalyna Brown. Emergency personnel confirmed that both had died.
