SAFA National Women Referees Workshop
19 May 2021 – The SAFA National Women Referees Workshop that commenced on Friday, 14 May 2021 with the arrival of participants from around the country and had a number of activities is set to come to an end today, Wednesday (19 May 2021).
Workshop activities officially started on 15 May 2021, with the female match officials running the mandatory fitness test at the University of Johannesburg, Soweto campus.
“This workshop is centred on ensuring that in the end we have fully fit athletes. We wanted to ensure that we give the women tools so that they can excel in their profession hence we focussed mainly on the laws of the game,’’ said SAFA head of referees, Abdul Ebrahim.
