The Hawks are investigating a Buffalo City Metro fibre internet connection tender amid allegations that it was awarded irregularly. In an affidavit to the Hawks, a whistle-blower claimed that a ward councillor, whose identity is known to the Daily Dispatch Weekend Edition, had sealed the deal alongside her husband at a popular fast-food outlet.
