School is a Grade 6 to 12 facility with a student population of 280 + students and a professional and paraprofessional staff of 50+ members.
The classrooms are equipped with BenQ Technology, computer lab along with Laptops and Chromebooks that are available for students and staff. Subsidized housing is available.
Catholic Religion, Denesuline Language and Cultural programs are also offered.
Interested applicants must possess a Bachelor of Education and able to be certified or possess a Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate along with previous teaching experience. ESL experience would be an asset.

A little over a year ago, my club could not have foreseen that we would add 18 new members during 2020 and do so in the midst of a global pandemic. There are silver linings in just about everything.
At the beginning of that year, we were planning to celebrate a century of Rotary in Kingston with other Rotary clubs in the city when COVID-19 struck in March. We watched as service organizations and agencies began to shut down or go into emergency mode and knew a celebration was out of the question. But it also became clear there was a huge service gap and Kingston was in great need.

Last week, all available resources were put into action to find a missing 11-year-old girl including Wetaskiwin Search and Rescue.
Incorporated in 2005, Wetaskiwin SAR is a non-profit organization, which has nine active team members and five more going through the application and training process, but they can always use more hands on deck.

“We have members here that have the community’s interest at heart,” said president and founding member David Bouchie. “If we have more members, it’d be more beneficial to the community as we’d have more help to respond.”
