Since you asked it, why dont you i feel it is very taboo to speak about it in the native american communities, especially the older adults might think that it is. But i think the youth are really ready to speak about it. I feel there should be a little bit more support in the school system. Some of the schools ive actually got to work with on the reservation, they dont really have afterschool programs. They are like really strict on education, but there is really nothing that can connect you to your culture after school or keep to your traditions after school.
