compliance and local election officials obviously treat this like it s nonsense. if a u.s. citizen went up to their voting station right now and said, hey, i m getting ready to vote and said i m sorry, we can t do this until next year, that s a complete insult to that person. why is the u.s. military saying you can t vote. it s ok. we re getting there. it s unacceptable. why don t they fed ex it over there and fed ex it back? or some other company? they are providing free express mail for military families overseas so the return part of it is being taken care of it that way. they can request electronically. in maine we had about 665 overseas voters request their ballots prior to the 45 day deadline. only 71 of them made the request electronically. this is an embarrassment, isn t it? the fact that we re trying to suggest that electoral voting electronically is acceptable
