SAN ANTONIO – Tackling homelessness has become the spotlight issue in the District 1 runoff election happening June 5.
Incumbent Roberto Trevino said he is proud of the work his team has done addressing this issue, but his challenger, Mario Bravo, said more needs to be done.
“What we’re doing in District 1 is working,” Trevino said.
Trevino said the homeless resource hub at his Dellview Field Office is helping many people by providing social services and meals to the homeless population.
Thursday is the last day to register to vote in San Antonio’s city run-off election on June 5
Early voting for the runoff is May 24-June 1

SAN ANTONIO – There’s still time to register to vote in the June 5 runoff election that will decide five San Antonio city council races.
The deadline to register is 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 6. For more information on how to register, call the Bexar County Voter Registration Office at 210-335-8683 (VOTE) or visit the county’s election website.

Applications that are mailed must be postmarked no later than Thursday, May 6. The applications must be addressed to the Bexar County Voter Registrar at 1103 S. Frio, San Antonio, TX, 78207.

San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg will serve his third term as mayor. His closest competitor Greg Brockhouse conceded in a statement on Saturday after trailing by a large margin. Nirenberg had 62%
