Warrant Article 39 would have authorized about $456,800 for All Other Expenditures related to the town s schools. But because York residents rejected the article, with a vote of 1,433-1,438 during Saturday s budget referendum, the appropriation for that line item will revert to the Fiscal Year 2021 amount: about $77,500.
The article funds non-instructional services, including employee benefits and the Volunteer Services Program that oversees community involvement in the York Schools, according to a statement of fact that appeared on the ballot.

BOZEMAN â The search for Bozeman s new Chief of Police is down to three candidates as of Wednesday, Feb. 24: Jim Baumstark, Eric Paulson, and Jim Veltkamp.
Baumstark has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience, including 16 years at the executive level, and joined the Asheville Police Department (APD) in North Carolina as the Deputy Chief in 2015.
Paulson has more than 23 years of law enforcement experience and currently serves as Deputy Chief of Police at the Santa Ana Police Department.
Veltkamp began his career in public service in 1999 when he first joined the Bozeman Police Department, where he currently serves as the Interim Chief and Deputy Chief.
