a question i have is what is, like, the 30-second pitch for why joe biden is better? is it abortion rights? is it economy? is it democracy? it may be all of them. but give people kind of, what is the pitch they should be doing so their neighbors, out on their streets when they re doing volunteer phone calls right now? i want people to remember that we have a president who sees us. you know, i ask the jewish-american to remember we have a president who does not see good people on both sides when it comes to charlottesville. i want to remind immigrants to this country, people like my mom, who was an immigrant single mom who raised three kids on her own, that we have a president who sees us and understands that we have a population that s looking to support this country and who believes in the future of this country and is not looking to tear it down. i want to say to all the young people and young voters out there, we have a president who understands that the future of our environment
online to the campaign. and we had 81 million volunteer phone calls. so there was a ton of online grassroots volunteer enthusiasm. and it just would have been impossible for someone like me, who is even in this stuff all day, to actually notice what was going on. so we really did not know. right, and you re more immersed in it than most people. it s very interesting to hear that this was not clear or abundantly in your face at the time. when you look at that history as well, though, about the democratic convention, knowing what we know now, do you think that either the sanders campaign contingent or just the democraticy at large should not have take nl what we know to be russian bait as much in those divisions over the e-mails or do you think that was the right way to handle it then? look, you can t get around the underlying fact that what was revealed and these leaked e-mails regardless of the source, was very frustrating for a lot of progressive supporters
thinking he tea party. jeannie cofounder of the tea part. nice to see you. have you rethought this? well, we did rethink it during the general election after the primary was over. we went back to the sport irn colluding the two million volunteer phone calls into pennsylvania. so we did everything we could to help get him elected. he campaigned on the issues of the tea party cared about. he made campaign promises based on those so far he is keeping the promises and we re glad to see that. i went back and listened to the 2015 speech and what struck me everything he said in the speech is exactly what he said during the campaign. what he is doing right now.
