- What impressed you the most in the first days after the elections?
- On August 10, my cousin, who lives in Mozyr, called me and told me about what was happening in my hometown. There’s a real skating rink on the roads in Minsk, and not only in Minsk. It is virtually impossible to walk in the yard, and one’s legs slide apart on the pavement, too. We were worried about our pensioners because of this factor - how would their march go? But our elderly ladies and gentlemen took a very wise decision. They gathered in an unexpected place - near the Western Market. They did not march, just stood in one place for a while, chanting slogans, waving flags.
