Sporadic ash emissions of small-to-moderate size occurred from the Mackenney summit crater which rose to estimated 3 km altitude.
The eruptive fissure vent on the NW flank produces lava fountains, about 50-100 meters tall, that feed the advancing lava flows. The flow fronts have reached more than 2,300 m distance and are slowly approaching towards the farmland of La Breña on the west.
