Take Drew Carey out of the punchline, and you might be surprised by what you find. Cleveland, Ohio, beyond what people think they know, is a pretty amazing city. Beyond live music, the food is delicious, the parks are lovely and the people are awesome.

Some of the greatest pleasures I’ve had being a student at Case Western Reserve University have been my experiences simply exploring the city of Cleveland. While Cleveland has its issues, it also offers distinct character, vibrant neighborhoods and institutions that punch far above their weight for a city with a population of less than 400,000.
